Funeral services honoring the life of Donald Emmett Meshell were held January 18 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Interment followed in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Donnie, 56, was born the youngest son of four to Emmett Eugene and Iva Lee Meshell on December 12, 1961, and passed into eternal rest on January 14, 2018. He lived his life to the fullest; a few of his favorite things were fast cars, loud music, and telling jokes. He never met a stranger and never missed an opportunity to have fun. Preceding him in death was his father, Emmett Meshell, and his brother, Dewayne Meshell. Survivors include his mother, Iva Lee Meshell; brothers, David Ray Meshell Sr., and Dennis Meshell; daughter, Jessica Richardson; and a host of nieces and nephews. Honoring him as pallbearers were Jason Meshell, Kevin Meshell, David Meshell Jr., Keith Meshell, Clint Meshell, Bruce Lowe and Jonathan Meshell.
