Funeral services for Elsie Pearl Meshell, 91, of Noble were held December 30 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Burial followed in the St. Ann Catholic Cemetery. She was born Monday, June 28, 1926 in Noble and passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 Shreveport. Pearl was a lifelong member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of St. Ann’s Alter Society. She was awarded the Diocesan Medal of Honor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Sepulvado and Julie Ebarb Sepulvado; husband, T. J. Meshell; daughter, Gail Meshell; sisters, Emma Campbell, Evelyn Meshell, Lillie Meshell and Irene Pokluda; brothers, Walter Sepulvado, Stevie Sepulvado, Ernest Sepulvado and Clifton Sepulvado. She is survived by her daughters, Karen Brandon of Frierson, Nelda Martinez and husband, Scotty Ebarb, of Zwolle and Cheryl Raney and husband, Jody, of Stonewall; grandchildren, Alyssa Martinez of Houston, Texas, Leslie “Wink” Martinez of Zwolle, Derrick Brandon of Frierson, Trevor Raney of New Orleans and Julianne Raney of Ruston; great grandchildren, Talan Brandon of Frierson and Sofia Pearl Thompson of Houston, Texas; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Jody Raney, Derrick Brandon, Trevor Raney, Leslie Martinez, Allen Martinez, Scotty Ebarb and Cody Taylor. The family would like to give special thanks to Life Care Hospital in Shreveport for all of their loving care that was shown to our Moth- er, also Barbara Rutherford for always taking our mom to church and being so loving and kind to our family.
