Funeral services honoring the life of William Edward Ryals, Sr., 67, were held October 24 at Lakeside Baptist Church in Converse with the Rev. Randy Parker officiating. Burial followed at Converse Cemetery in Converse. He was born November 14, 1949 to Laros and Marsha Keggley Ryals and entered into rest October 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melonie Ryals Wiley; brothers, Jack Ryals and Tommy P. Ryals; sisters, Clara Ryals George, Marjorie Ryals Paul and Dorothy Ryals Gamlin; son-in-law, Edward Montz; father-in-law, Sherman Page and mother-in-law, Betty Page. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Betty Ann Page Ryals of Converse; sons, Eddy Ryals and wife, Shonda, and Chad Ryals and wife, Katherine, both of Converse; daughters, Angela Montz of Ponchatoula and Chrissy Ebarb and husband, Jason, of Converse; son-in-law, Craig Wiley Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Francis Jones and husband, Eddy, of Mooring-sport; grandchildren, Billy Ryals, Heather Ryals, Nicholas Ryals, Matthew Montz, Peyton Ryals, Jonathan Montz, Brianna Ezernack, Craig Wiley, Jr., Stephen Ryals, Isabella Ryals, Chad Ryals, Jr., Adam Ebarb, Tristen Ebarb, Shayna Cline, Tyler Cline, and one grandson on the way; great grandson, Carter Ryals; and a great grandchild on the way.
