Funeral services honoring the life of Aaron Mark Donaldson, 61, of Many were held September 24 at Trinity Baptist Church with Bro. Leon Manshack officiating. Burial followed in the Many Cemetery. He was born Monday, July 9, 1956 in Lutcher and passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at his residence in Many. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Milot and Alphonsine Weber. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Donaldson of Many, formerly of Abita Springs; daughter, Hannah Beth Donaldson of Luling; sons, Allen Donaldson and wife, Rebecca of Detroit, Michigan, Paul Donaldson and wife, Lauren of Covington, and Joshua Donaldson of Manitou Springs, Colorado; step-sons, Gabriel Kerby, who helped care for him at the end, of Coushatta, Matthew Kerby of Abita Springs, Shane Leone of Zwolle, and Bryan Ollis of Buckeye, Arizona; step-daughter, Paula Shorts of New Sarpy; parents, Warren and Mary Jane Donaldson of Norco; sister, Dawn Marie Donaldson of Destrehan; grandchildren, special grandson, Jayden Donaldson of Luling, Cooper Donaldson of Covington, Parker Donaldson of Covington, Shelby Leone of Zwolle, Joshua Leone of Zwolle and special granddaughter, Lydia Kerby of Coushatta; along with a host of friends and co-workers who adored him. Aaron was an amazing, kind-hearted man who touched the hearts of many who knew him. He loved God, his wife, and his children. He had a special gift of speaking God’s Word that he wanted to share with everyone.
