Funeral services for Roy Eldred Bison, 93, of Zwolle were held August 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery. He was born Monday, October 29, 1923 in Sabine Parish and went to his heavenly home on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise “Sissy” Bison; parents, Will Bison and Dorothy Ebarb Bison; sons, Edward Bison and Lloyd Bison; grandson, Derek Scott Meyers; great grandson, Logan Brant; brothers, Albert Bison, Willie B. Bison and Willis Doyle Bison; and sister, Delores Jackson. He is survived by his daughters, Pat Meyers and husband, Louis, of Zwolle, Brenda Goss and husband, Barry, of Florien, Mary Cryer and husband, Larry, of Jonesboro, and Molly Sepulvado and husband, Rick, of Zwolle; sisters, Trennie Mora of Keithville, Elsie Rae Ferguson of Zwolle, Dorothy Anderson of Zwolle, Mary Lou Bison of Noble, and Willene Bessing of Pensacola, Florida; brother, Tommy Joe Bison of Grand Cane; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grand-children; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Gary Lee, Johnny Ebarb, Kenneth Ebarb, Butch Ebarb, Chanse Malmay, and Mike Sepulvado.
