    Funeral services for Glinda Sue Steelman, 68, of Converse were held July 18 at Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Alford officiating. Burial followed in the Sardis Cemetery. She was born Monday, October 18, 1948 in Yakima, Washington and passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Noble. She was preceded in death by her father, D. J. McConnell; stepfather, Arthur K. Swanson,Sr.; and husband, Larry D. Steelman, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Steelman and spouse, Debra Ebarb, of Ebarb and Krystin Steelman of Ebarb; sons, Larry Steelman, Jr. and spouse, Marie, of Oxford, and Kenneth Steelman of Angola; mother, Wilma Swanson of Jefferson, Texas; sisters, Joy Mc- Connell of Jefferson, Texas and Wendy Crawford and spouse, Jim, of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Arthur Swanson, Jr. of Jefferson, Texas and Thomas Swanson and spouse, Rosie, of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren, James Steelman of Oxford, Zachary Steelman of Oxford, and Madeleine Steelman of Oxford; great granddaughter, Lillian Mae Steelman of Ebarb; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
