Funeral services for Sam “Plowboy” Richardson, 60, of Florien were held June 24 at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church with the Reverends Buddy Freeman, Tony Moran, and Donnie Paul Lewing officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Knot Cemetery. He was born on Saturday, June 23, 1956 in Las Cruces, New Mexico and passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 in Many.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Richardson and Verna Mae Randolph Richardson; son, Samuel John Richardson, Jr.; and special best friends, Willie Self, Max Lockwood and Pete Lewing.He is survived by his wife, Dolores “Tink” Richardson of Florien; daughters, Diana Guidry and husband, Darryl, of Santa Fe, Tennessee, Dora Mae Campbell and husband, Derek, of Belmont, and Katy Cash and husband, Travis, of Keatchie; sisters, Patsy Johnson and husband, Jerry, of Many and Bessie Cauthen and husband, Rickey, of Florien; brothers, Charles “Sonny” Richardson and wife, Candy, of Florien and Bob Richardson and wife, Gina, of Splendora, Texas; grandchildren, Emily Cardy, Nathan Guidry, Kyle Guidry, Jayde Campbell, Hayden Campbell, Kassie Campbell, Rebecca Cash, and Samuel Cash; great grandchildren, Blakely Cardy and Landrie Cardy; honorary grandchildren, Dawson LaGrange and Taylor Robertson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended trucking family.
