Funeral services for Drew Lewing, 78, of Belmont were held June 23 at Spring Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Dean Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Belmont Cemetery. He was born Saturday, November 19, 1938 in Sabine Parish and passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at his residence in Belmont.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Lewing; parents, William Wallace Lewing and Dizzrea Eason Lewing; brother, Delmar Lewing; and sisters, Faye Strahan and Rachel Judy.He is survived by his daughters, Connie Lewing of Belmont, Jennifer Lewing of Belmont, and Susan Leone of Belmont; son, Patrick Lewing of Belmont; sister, Dona Lewis and husband, Raymond, of Oklahoma; brother, Rue Lewing and wife, Rita, of Noble; grandchildren, Casey Sepulvado, Bridgette Greer, Dakota Sepulvado, John Brian Lewis, Andrew Dean, William Lewis, Karli Martinez, Madison Lewing, Allee Dean, Ethan Dean, and Rhett Lewing; nine great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Casey Sepulvado, Dakota Sepulvado, Andrew Dean, Ethan Dean, Rhett Lewing, John Brian Lewis, William Lewis, and Cris Harrison.Honorary pallbearers were Pete Sattler, Scotty Eaves, and his hunting friends from Sneed Creek Hunting Club and Belmont Fox Pen.
