Funeral services honoring the life of Patsy Ann Ferguson Booker, 76, were held March 11 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield with Jessie Brandon Booker and Loren Spencer officiating. Burial followed at Prude Cemetery in Stanley. She was born on November 5, 1940 to Jesse and Edna Ferguson and entered into rest on May 6, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Patsy accepted Christ at an early age. She played piano in church as a child and young adult in the Pentecostal Church. She attended Pelican All Saints High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Edna Ferguson; son, James Franklin Booker, Jr.; and two other sons that passed away at birth. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, James F. Booker; son, Jeffrey Kent Booker; daughter, Lisa Renea Booker; grandchildren, Brandon Booker, Shane Rainey, Ashley Veuleman, Chance Campbell, Kent Booker, Jr., Cody and Amellia; step grandchildren, Megan Tingle, Alex Reed; and siblings, Mary Spencer, Curtis Ferguson, and James Ferguson. Honoring her as pallbearers were Chance Campbell, Alex Reed, James Ferguson, Joshua Veuleman, Curtis Ferguson, Brandon Booker, and Loren Spencer. The family would like to express their deepest thanks for everyone of your prayers, expressions of love, calls of strength and support, words of encouragement, flowers, cards and visits.
