Gary Delane Bell of Zwolle left the pain and suffering of this world to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 25, 2017 at Grace Home in Shreveport. He was born to Gary and Connie Jordan Bell on November 18, 1983 in Shreveport. Delane was a member of Converse Baptist Church. After being diagnosed with cancer when he was 16, his faith in Jesus Christ gave him the strength to be an inspiration to others during his many stays at St. Jude Hospital in Memphis and other medical facilities for numerous surgeries and treatment. Although this dreaded disease limited Delane to some degree, he was still able to live a productive life while working as a loader operator in his father’s logging business. He loved being in the woods, either working or hunting, and always had a fascination of John Deere equipment. Delane is survived by his parents, Gary and Connie Bell of Zwolle; brother, Jarret Bell and wife, Chelsea, of Many; and a namesake nephew, Ethan Delane Bell, to be born in May; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Hazel Meshell Bell, Glen Richard Jordan and Mary Miller. The family wishes to express their gratitude to those staff members and volunteers at Grace Home, Hospice of Natchitoches and Southern Care of Shreveport who provided him with loving care and exhibited compassion for him and the family in a professional and dignified manner. Funeral services were held March 28, at Calvary Baptist Church in Many with Brother Cyle Clayton officiating. Burial was next to his beloved PoPo, Kenneth, in Zwolle City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brian Ezernack, Justin Parrie, Robert Holden, Lonnie Calhoun, Joe Lee Carhee, and Connie Hall. Honorary pallbearers were Vince Rivers, Cody Meshell, Joshua Kennedy, Corey Fountain and Rodney Meshell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grace Home, 1035 Margaret Place, Shreveport, LA 71101- 4315. Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many, Louisiana (318) 256-0690
