Funeral services honoring the life of Linda T. Procell, 57, were held March 9 at Henrietta Congregational Methodist Church in Converse with the Reverends Chucky Clark and Jimmy Price officiating. Burial followed at Converse Cemetery in Converse.
She was born on October 7, 1959 in Natchez, Mississippi to John D. and Lola Ruth Tanner and entered into rest on March 4, 2017 in Converse. Linda was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and grandmother.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Elvis Procell; parents, John D. and Lola Ruth Tanner; sons, David Elliott, Jr. and wife, Rebecca, and Jonathan Procell and wife, Heather; daughters, Shelly Elliott, Jennifer Elliott Creel and husband, Chad, Pamela Marr and husband, Jeffery, and Kimberly Meshell and husband, Derek; brother, Johnny Tanner and wife, Tamara; sisters, Debbie Tanner Cantrelle and husband, Karl, Glenda Tanner, and Pam Chanler and husband, Ray; 17 grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceding Linda in death was her son, Rodney Joe Elliott.
Those honoring the life of Linda as pallbearers were Tyler Leggett, Adam Norton, Chief Tom Rivers, J.D. Procella, Stephen Chanler, and “Bush.”
Honorary pallbearers were Cameron Craig, Caden Craig, Candyn Craig, James Pinkston and Trey Smith.
