Funeral services for Robert Lynn Byles, 57, of Many, were held March 2 at The Life Church with Pastor Jim Manning and Deacon Mike Sullivan officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Freedom Cemetery.
He was born on Sunday, January 24, 1960 in Sabine Parish. He passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Sabine Medical Center in Many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. Byles and Dorothy Vernice McComic Byles; and brothers, Johnny, Billy, and Don Byles.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Johnson Byles of Many; daughter, Brittany Byles Nosser and husband, Charles Nathan Nosser, of Many; son, Robert Louis “Bobby” Byles of Shreveport; brother, Tommy Ray Byles of Many; grandchildren, Charles Bradley Nosser, Rebecca Klair Nosser, and Londyn Grace Nosser all of Many; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were J.J. Blake, Keith Broussard, Scotty Carnline, Stanley Cook, Richard DeKeyzer, Brian Mattison, Dennis Strother, Christopher Tyler, and Jim Bo Young.
Honorary pallbearers were Damon Johnson, Zack Nelson, Cory Strother, and the Ushers of The Life Church, and the employees of Robert Byles Plumbing.
