Norman Kent Procell, 49, of Ebarb, went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family on March 3, 2017, in Shreveport.

A memorial service was held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many on March 6. A mass of Christian burial was held March 7 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle. Interment was at St. Ann Cemetery in Noble.

He was born on July 31, 1967, to Gerald and Rebecca Procell. He attended Ebarb High School as part of the graduating class of 1985. On September 18, 1987, he married the love of his life the former Kimberly Ebarb. Norman’s family was always his first priority. He and Kimberly had eight children together, and Norman worked hard every day to provide for them. Big family vacations were the highlight of every year. He made it a point to show his children that time with family was precious. Norman’s greatest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Procell; grandparents, Jake and Janie Procell; grandmother Louise Parrie and cousin, Charles “Chuck” Weeks.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kimberly Ebarb Procell; mother, Rebecca Procell; children, Megan Ponder and husband, Billy, Jacob Procell, Tyler Procell and wife, Whitney, Logan Procell, Skylar Procell, April Procell, Collin Procell and Carter Procell; grandchildren, Cela Ponder, Ridge Procell, and Brock Procell; brother, Scott Procell; and sister, Cindy Procell Lewing.
