Love was in the air this Valentine’s Day, as members of the Gray Ghost Motorcycle Club of Sabine Parish, Patriot Guard Riders, A.B.A.T.E of Louisiana, and the Soldiers of the Cross M/M spent time with the residents of the Sabine Retirement and Rehabilitation Center. They spread the love with gifts that included fleece throw blankets, socks, and cards for each resident. To top it off they even provided the grand prize for the daily bingo. The Patriot Guard Riders also honored our veterans by presenting each of them with a much-deserved salute and American flag lapel pin, as a token of appreciation. All of this may seem like a small gesture, but to our elderly it meant everything. It’s like Mother Theresa once said, “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.”
