Rodney “Chuck” Joseph Molbert, 70, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his residence in Many. He grew up in Rayne where he was very active in sports: boxing, basketball, and many others. He was proud of his military service in the Marine Corps, having served two tours with the Recon Division in Vietnam. Chuck worked for Reynolds Metals Company in Lake Charles and Reynolds International for three years in Africa alongside his wife Renee. After 30 years of service, he retired and moved to Toledo Bend. Some of his hobbies included fishing, boating, and a love for animals. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Renee Molbert; daughters, Kimberly Molbert Willard and husband, James, of Iowa, and Amy Molbert Enos and husband, Scott, of Baton Rouge; stepson, Kristopher Chelette and wife, Sara, of Dallas, Texas; along with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Chuck is preceded in death by his son, Dr. Benjamin Joseph Molbert, MD; and parents, Harold “Boone” and Beatrice “Sally” Molbert; and sister, Patricia Habetz.
