Graveside services honoring the life of Ruby Roberts, 95, were held November 1 at Spring Ridge in Pleasant Hill with the Rev. Wilton Anthony officiating Ruby was born on March 3, 1921 in Pleasant Hill to Annie Belle Tyler and Leroy Free. She passed away on Sunday October 30, 2016 at Mansfield Nursing Center in Mansfield with her family by her side. Preceding her in death were her husband, Wayne David Roberts; parents, Annie Belle Tyler and Leroy Free; sisters, Annie Aliene Bates and Virginia Clara Byles; and brother, Elmer Newell Free. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Ann Knowlton Peterson and husband, Billy, of Lafayette along with three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
