A large crowd attended the unveiling of the 2016 Tamale Fiesta poster on Thursday night, September 15 at 7 p.m. The exhibit building on the Festival Grounds in Zwolle was colorfully decorated with red, black and a variety of festive colors from aqua and yellow to coral and green. Huge flowers were fashioned from tissue paper, and a refreshment table, laden with tamales, chips and dips, and cookies gave attendees a preview of what’s to come at the Fiesta, which is held the second weekend of October.
