Andrew “Andy” Labor, 80, of Zwolle passed away with peace and grace on August 16, 2016 at home surrounded by family. Labor was born August 23, 1935 in Gilliam. He was the son of the late Ms. Lizzie Falcon Rachael and is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jane Pratt Labor and brother, Bobby Labor. Andrew worked for the Caddo Parish School board for 23 years and retired in 1993. He and Mary Jane moved to Zwolle where they became kind and loving business owners of his passion, B&B Grocery & Hardware for more than 20 years. He was a father, grandfather, and friend, who enjoyed coaching softball, building pirogues, taxidermy, hunting, fishing and making homemade fishing bait. He always had some kind of project going on that involved working with his hands. He is survived by his children, Mary Williams of Shreveport and Elizabeth Pritchard and husband, Gene, of Zwolle, Camille Pulzone and husband, Joe, of Shreveport, and Bradley Fullerton and wife, Gail, of Shreveport; brother, Joseph Racheal and wife, Loraine; grandchildren, Timothy, Erica, Angela, Niki, Shelby, Jessica, Valerie, and Shane; great grandchildren, Karrigan, Gracyn, Jaxson, Brandon, Sarah, Bianca, Drewscilla, Abigail, Thaddues, Ma’Layiah and BerRence. Memorial service held for Andy will be held August 27, at 1 p.m. at Aimwell Baptist Church located 1892 Hwy. 1215 in Zwolle. Friends may visit with family, Saturday at 12 p.m. before services. Flowers can be sent to Aimwell Baptist Church on August 27, or donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
