Memorial services for Fred Rose, 73, of Florien, were held June 25 at Middle Creek Baptist Church. Fred was born on Tuesday, June 23, 1942 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at his residence in Florien. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Charles Rose, Jr. and Luella Kathleen Norsworthy Rose and his nephew, Johnny Rose. He is survived by his daughters, Misty Holey and husband, John, of Lindale, Texas, Kathy Beard and husband, Jason, of Lindale, Texas, and Karla Hudson of Lindale, Texas; son, Christopher Rose of Brooklyn, New York; brother, Charles Rose of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; nephew, Shane Rose of Mt.
