    Funeral services for Wilma Dinah Davis, 99, of Many, were held on June 8 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Mark Franklin officiating. Burial followed in the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Dinah Davis was born on Monday, September 4, 1916 in Many. She passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Sabine Medical Center in Many. Mrs. Davis served in the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved dancing and doing alterations for her customers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Grappe and Mary Moore Grappe; sons, Gene Davis and Charles Ralph Davis; grandson, Mike Davis; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her sons, Bobby Davis and wife, Charlotte, of Shreveport and George Davis of Many; daughter, Dianne Davis of Many; sister, Bessie Mowad of Many; special nieces and nephews, Patty Davis, Linda Richardson, Cathy Davis, Gary Pearson, Jimmy Pearson, David Pearson, Luke Pearson, and Tim Pearson; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several great nieces and great nephews who she thought of as her grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Tyler Pearson, Zack Pearson, Timbo Pearson, Tanner Pearson, Skylar Pearson, Colton Pearson, Isaac Davis, and Jeremy Davis.
