Graveside Services for Doris Jean Gayer, 85, of Zwolle, were held on April 19, at Bayou Scie Methodist Church with the Rev. Nathaniel Langford officiating. Doris Jean Gayer was born on Friday, July 4, 1930 in Zwolle. She passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Toledo Nursing Center in Zwolle. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Gayer, Sr. and parents, S.L. and Juanita Maines Campbell. She is survived by her children, David Lee Gayer, Jr. of Converse, Donna Scott of Zwolle, Lori Baker and husband, James, of Zwolle, Denise Rivers and husband, Lindsey of Zwolle and Lance Gayer of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister, Marilyn Youngblood and husband, Peyton of Noble; brother, Rodney Campbell and wife, Virginia of Houston, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
