    Graveside services honoring the life of Thomas Joe Cassell, 78, were held April 6 at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse with the Rev. Chucky Clark officiating. Joe was born on June 8, 1937 in Converse, to Randolph and Edna Pritchard Cassell, and died on April 4, 2016 in Shreveport. Preceding Thomas in death are his parents, Randolph and Marie Cassell. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Randy Cassell and wife, Christie of Shreveport; sister, Deborah Cassell West and husband, Danny of Greenville, Mississippi and brother, Derrell Randolph Cassell and wife, Mary Virginia, of Converse.
