Walter Hugh Spillyards, Sr.

Funeral services honoring the life of Walter Hugh Spillyards, Sr, 76, were held graveside on Friday, March 4 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Converse with the Rev. Chucky Clark officiating. Walter was born in Converse to Quinton and Mary Folks Spillyards and passed away on March 2, 2016. Preceding Walter in death were his parents, Quinton and Mary Spillyards; wife, Mary Spillyards; brother, Charles Spillyards; and sister, Gloria Spillyards Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Walter H. Spillyards, Jr. and wife, Kristy, Lloyd D. Spillyards and companion, Sally Norwood; Donny R. Spillyards and wife, Margaret; step-son, Kevin Craig and wife, Danette; sister, Hazel Bourgue and husband,Thomas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren ; two nephews, and once niece.
