Funeral services honoring the life of Phillip Remedies, 89, were held February 4 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Many with Father Thomas Elanvunkal officiating. Burial followed at St. John’s in Many. Phillip was born in Louisiana to Hildo and Mary Remedies. He passed away at his residence at Sabine Retirement in Many with his family by his side. Proceeding Phillip in death were his parents, Hildo Remedies Sr. and Mary Sepulvado Remedies; wife, Leola G. Remedies; daughter, Phylis Amber Remedies; nine brothers and one sister. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, James N. Remedies, Phillip “Rodney” Remedies and wife, Ginger, Pam Sanderson and husband, David, and Marilyn Kay Remedies; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
