Funeral services for Glen Richard Jordan, 74, of Robeline, were held January 19 at Jennings Chapel Congregational Methodist Church with the Reverends Butch Bruce and Chris Bruce officiating. Burial followed in the Rocky Mount Cemetery. Glen was born on Thursday, May 22, 1941 in Natchitoches Parish. He passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at his residence in Robeline. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Jordan and Maudie Rebecca Jordan; son, Phillip Jordan and infant son; brothers, Clyde Raymond Jordan and Travis Jordan and his sister, Dollie Stroud. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jordan of Robeline; daughters Dee Dee Parker of Robeline, Connie Bell and husband, Gary, of Zwolle, Brenda Jordan of Mansfield, Lisa Johnson and husband, Chris, of Robeline, Carolyn Miller and husband Nathan, of Natchitoches, Laura Procell of Robeline and Magen Berry and husband, Zach, of Robeline; sisters, Effie Ates of Arkansas, Faye Mitcham of Marthaville, Bobby Meshell of Robeline, and Melba Cruse of Marthaville; brothers, Ted Jordan of Shreveport, Terry Dale Jordan of Robeline, and Gerry Jordan of Mississippi; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Carl Ferrier Jr., Chris Lewis, Johnathan Lewis, Aaron Procell, Bobby Whittington, and Daniel Procell.
