Jerry Donald Carter II, 52, passed away on December 13, 2015 in Lufkin Texas. He was the husband of Kimberly Scott Carter. They shared 35 years together and resided in Zwolle. Born in Oakland, California, he was the son of Sybil Dianne Carter and the late Jerry Donald Carter. He graduated from Robeline High School in 1981. He was a retired US Navy Veteran of 32 years. He was employed at Dolet Hills Lignite Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and being a hard worker that took pride in his family. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Scott Carter; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Matt Jenkins of Robeline; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Laura Carter of Zwolle; grandchildren, Larkaye, Hunter, Haydan, Jeralee, and Gunner; mother, Sybil Dianne Carter of Natchitoches; brothers, Kris Carter of Scranton, Arkansas, Luc Carter of Robeline, and Nathaniel Carter of Sulphur and mother and father-in-law, Bonnie and Robert Scott of Robeline. A memorial graveside service was held on December 21 at Old Pisgah Cemetery in Marthaville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Seabee Scholarship Fund.
