A memorial service honoring the life of Harry Leon “Lee” Casteel, 78, of Many, will be held on Saturday, November 7 at 11 a.m. at Little Flock Baptist Church. The Rev. Otis Branam will officiate. Mr. Casteel was born on July 21, 1937 in Alta Loma, Texas. He entered into eternal rest at his residence on October 26, 2015. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and defended his country in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Raymond Casteel and LaVerne Davis; sister-in-law, Emma- Jean Casteel; double first cousins, Larry and Linda Casteel and granddaughter, DeLisa Foster. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Casteel; son, Jared Proudfoot; daughters, Sandy Casteel, Joann Kadin and husband, Mike, Karen Casteel, Jeannette Foster and Bridget Cochran and husband, Brad, Kelly Casteel; brothers, Ray Casteel and wife, Doni and Frank Casteel and wife, Toni; sister-in-laws, Theresa Bennett and Janice Morris; eight grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
