Edith Jones Palmer will be the reigning First Lady of the 40th annual Tamale Fiesta, hosted in Zwolle Oct. 9-11 at the Festival Grounds. A native of Zwolle, she was born on Feb. 21, 1936, to May and Ed Jones. She and her younger sister, Mary Ann Jones, were raised and educated in Zwolle, where Edith graduated from Zwolle High School in 1953.
