Yellow Fawn Thorton of the Louisiana Band of Choctaws con-ducted a pottery workshop for the Choctaw Apache Tribe of Ebarb the week of July 6. Yellow Fawn is from the Farmerville area and has been working with pottery all her life. She was taught by her grand-mother beginning at five or six years of age. She and her grand-mother gathered upon the creek bank to search for clay to use in the making of all types of pottery.
