    Funeral services for Malcom Kent Williams, 54, of Many were held Aug. 20 at First Baptist Church of Many in Many, with Dr. Calvin Phelps and the Rev. Cyle Clayton officiating. Burial followed in the Many Cemetery in Many. Malcom Kent Williams was born on Wednesday, June 14, 1961 in Many. He passed away on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 at his residence in Many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray Williams and Edith Jane Martin Williams; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Efton Martin; paternal grandparents, Robert and Rena Williams and father-in-law, M.F. “Buster” Murray. He is survived by his wife Cherry Williams of Many; daughter, Anna Catherine Wright and husband, Dustin, and children, William Chad and Major Kent of Shreveport; son, Patrick Murray Williams and wife, Brittney and son, Judah Mac of Hillsville, Virginia; parent-in-laws, Barton and Linda Rumsey of Many; brothers, Bruce Williams and children, Rush and John Ross of Oakdale; Roderick Williams and wife, Kim, and children, Kyle and Keilee Jane of Shreveport and Chris Williams and wife, Denyse, and children, Madison Rutherford, Rylea and Olivia of Honduras along with a host of friends. Pallbearers were Valmore Byles, Bruce Gandy, John Godfrey, Leif Founds, Don Burkett, Robert Dale Geoghagan, Adam Founds, Warren Founds and Andy Payne. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.warrenmeadows.com
