Graveside services for Doris Lamurl Mott, 87, of Florien, were held on Aug. 7, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Scroggs officiating.Doris Lamurl Mott was born on Friday, June 1, 1928 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She passed away on Monday, Aug. 3, 2015 at Willis Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer “Ell” Ross Richards and Lula Richards; step mother, Leonnie “Nanny” Richards; sisters, Fay Miller and Levine Duncan; brothers, How-ard Richards, Tommy Richards, James Richards and A. G. Self.She is survived by her daughters, Gail Miller of Many and Paulia Matthews and husband, Sidney, of Florien; sisters, JoAnn Pillows of Groventon, Texas and Betty Lewing of Pineville; brother, J. B.
