    Billy Ray Young, 84, of Converse died peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Young was born June 1, 1931 in Converse. He is preceded in death by parents, Lane and Octavine Young and brothers, Lloyd Young, Milton Young and Harry Young. He is survived by younger brother, Floyd Young and his wife, Doris, of Van Buren, Arkansas and sister, Mary Cates of Converse. Funeral was held on June 2 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield. The Reverends Charles Clark and Randy Parker officiated. Burial followed at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse. Pallbearers were Dr. Thomas Cates, Colton McDonald, Jeff McDonald, Bernard Farmer, Ryan McDonald and Greg McCrecklin. Rose-Neath Funeral Home Mansfield Chapel
