Dorthea Sunshine Crone, 92, went home to glory on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at the Heritage Manor of Bossier af-ter an extended illness. “Sun-shine” was born in Helena, Arkansas on Sept. 14, 1922 to James Oscar and Floy Ded-man Kimbrell, and grew up in Zwolle after moving in 1928. She graduated from Zwolle High School, and later mar-ried Leonard A Crone on Sep-tember 14, 1941; they were married for 62 years.Sunshine and Leonard had three children, Robert, James, and Debra. After their children were grown, Sun-shine was able to travel with her husband in connection with his work. She had the op-portunity to experience places such as Puerto Rico, Ireland, Tahiti, Hawaii and numerous other locations.A memorial service hon-oring Sunshine’s life was held at Toledo Bend Lake, Zwolle on May 25.Sunshine is survived by her children, Robert L. Crone of Tupelo, Mississippi, James Allen Crone of Shreveport and Debra Ann Crone Jones and husband, Dennis, of Diamondhead, Mississippi; grandchildren, Selena Davis and husband, Brad of Tupelo, Mississippi, Robert Crone and spouse, Gary Reich, of Annap-olis, Maryland, and Tammy Tolbert and husband, Ste-phen, of Leavenworth, Kan-sas; and great-grandchildren, Megan and Kristen Davis of Tupelo, Mississippi, and Sean and Michael Tolbert of Leav-enworth, Kansas and sister, Patsy Spears and husband, Mack of Tyler, Texas.She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Crone; parents, James Oscar and Floy Kimbrell; brother, James Oscar Kimbrell, Ju-nior; sister, Frances Sampson and sister, Alice Caples.A woman as bright as her namesake, Sunshine’s family will wait patiently to see her once more.Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfu-neralhome.com
