“Well done, good, and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:21A funeral mass for Lillie Meshell, 94, of Ebarb, was held on May 22 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Ebarb with Father Tim Hurd officiating. Burial followed at St. Joseph’s Cem-etery in Zwolle. Lillie was born on Dec. 10, 1920 in Noble. She entered into eternal rest on May 19, 2015 at Natchitoches Regional Medi-cal Center, following a brief ill-ness.Lillie was a devout Catholic and former member of the St. Ann’s Altar Society. She was an active promoter of the Miracu-lous Medal for over 60 years.She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Meshell; her parents, Tom and Julie Ebarb Sepulvado; sisters, Evelyn Meshell, Emma Camp-bell and Irene Pokluda; broth-ers, Stevie Sepulvado, Clifton Sepulvado, Ernest Sepulvado and Walter Sepulvado; daugh-ter, Jane; special niece, Sina Sepulvado and special son-in-law, Danny Butler.Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary Helen and husband, Marshal Carlin of Baton Rouge and Jennette Butler of Natchitoches; sons, Thomas Meshell of Ebarb and Allen Meshell of Zwolle; grand-children, Christopher Carlin, Matthew Carlin, Aimee But-ler and Derek Meshell; sister, Pearl Meshell of Ebarb; three great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Daphne and Cynthia Butler; two step-great grandsons, Logan and Layton Wyatt; one sister-in-law, Ma-bel Sepulvado of Stafford, Tex-as along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.Honoring as pallbearers were Matthew Carlin, Christo-pher Carlin, Alben Sepulvado, Glenn Sepulvado, Jody Raney and Adam Sepulvado.Online condolences may be made to the family at www.warrenmeadows.com
