    Funeral Services for Jannie Johnson Tackett, 90, of Many, were held on May 14 at First United Methodist Church of Many with the Rev. Ray Spiller officiating. Burial followed in the Many Cemetery. Jannie Johnson Tackett was born on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1924 in Damon, Texas. She crossed over on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. L.O. Tackett; daughter, Barbara Ann Brown; parents, Genard and Agnes Nelson Johnson and three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Pam Tackett Curtis and husband, John, of Many and Glenda Tackett Zick and husband, Don, of Many; sister, Bernice Baillie of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; beloved caretakers, JoAnne Aldredge and Tina Price along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
