    Funeral services for Mary Sue Lewing, 73, of Belmont were held on March 23 at Old Pisgah Baptist Church. The Reverends Logan Brock, Dean Johnson and Glynn Howard officiated. Interment followed in the Belmont Cemetery. Mary was born on January 26, 1942 in Converse. She entered into rest at her residence in Belmont on March 20, 2015. She was a member of Spring Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Willie Brian; brother, Johnnie Brian and sisters, Betty West and Barbara Faye Brian. She is survived by her husband, Narrie Drew Lewing; children, Connie Sue Lewing, Jennifer Lewing, Susan Dean, Patrick Lewing and wife, Tanya; nine grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; sisters, Alecia Lewis and husband, John, Barbara Merline Ross and husband, George and a host of family and friends. Honoring her as pallbearers were John Brian Lewis, William Lewis, Todd Strahan, Cris Harrison, Michael Brian, Bruce Hendrickson, Michael LaHaye, Dwain Brian, David Cain and John Paul LaHaye.
