Funeral services for Gilbert Lee Jordan were held on March 9, at New Life Evangelism Center in Natchitoches with the Rev-erends Dennis Bjornberg, D.D. Lee, and Rodney Boswell officiat-ing. Interment followed at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Robeline. Gilbert Jordan, 57, was born July 23, 1957 in Robeline and received his healing March 5, 2015. Gilbert loved Jesus, his family, and his New Life Evange-lism Center family. He was a very humble and sweet spirited man who will be profoundly missed.He is survived by his wife, Betsy Boswell Jordan of Robeline; son, Tracy Jordan and wife, Edye, of Robeline; daughter, Kari Jordan of Many; grandchildren, Celeste Jordan, Jackson Jordan, Wesley Jordan, Maggie Jordan and Carsen Thompson; sister, Beverly Jordan Carnline and husband, Jimmy, of Many; his father-in-law, Terri Boswell of Provencal and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Maggie Jordan and his son, Wesley Jordan.Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Jackson Jordan, Wil-lie Stewart, Brian Hester, Mike Edwards, Sammy Green, Jeffrey Lee, Jeff Tarpley and John Sparks.Honorary pallbearers were Roy Watley, Wendell Wellman, Ken-dall Perkins, Billy White, John Young, Bo Edwards, Man Lindsey and Ralph Dowden.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the New Life Evange-lism Centers building fund.
