Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Marie Stoker, were held Feb. 9 in the Chapel of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home with the Reverends Cecil Boswell, Sr. and Christopher Dew officiating. Interment followed at Central Baptist Cemetery in Robeline. Mildred was born on June 6, 1933, to Clifton Joshua Berry and Mattie Ola Broadway Berry, and passed from this life at 81 years of age on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. Mildred was loved by her family and friends. She filled so many roles and held so many titles, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cook, helper and beloved friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Berry and Mattie Berry of Robeline; brothers, Harvey Berry of Burleson, Texas, Charles Berry of Marthaville, and Limuel Berry of Robeline; sister, Ethel Freeman of Natchitoches; grandson Scott Byles of Robeline and great grandson Cole Byles of Tyler, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald Ray Stoker of Robeline; daughters, Dianne Byles and husband, Jimmie, of Robeline and Shirley Graybiel and husband, Jed, of Bethany; sister, Hattie Mae Hall and husband, R. C., of Robeline; grandsons, Chad Byles and wife, Misty, of Many, Christopher Dew and wife, Rachel, of Vichy, Mo. and Dexton Dew of Hagewood; great grandchildren, Kenneth and Ashlee Byles, Karsten, Kayden and Kellen Dew, Logan and Lucas Dew as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Those honored to be pallbearers were Kenneth Walls, Jed Graybiel, Chad Byles, Max Stoker, Eric Stoker, Dexton Dew, Seth Stoker, Whitt Stoker and Dale Stoker served as an honorary pallbearer.
