    Funeral Services for Billy Gene Self, 68, of Many, were held on Feb. 6 at Lewing Chapel in Many with the Rev. Donnie Paul Lewing officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Florien. Billy Gene Self was born on Sunday, Nov. 17, 1946 in Center, Texas. He passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches. He was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Florien Chaney Self; daughter, April Laster; sister, Eva Hall and brothers, Willie and Gilbert Self. He is survived by daughter, Brandy Beason and husband, Jordan of Many; sons, Thomas Laster and wife, Linda, of Many, Roger Hutchison of South Carolina and Jeremy Hutchison of California; brother, Bill Self, Jr. of Many; eight grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were Thomas Laster, Brandon Nickel, Adam Hershberger, Donald Hall, Dustin Hall and Jerrad Bragg.
