    Funeral Services for George Roger Lopez, 76, of Shreveport were held on Jan. 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Bosco officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Zwolle. George Roger Lopez was born on Sunday, July 17, 1938 in Shreveport. He passed away on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015 at Christus Schumpert Highland in Shreveport. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Ebarb Lopez and brother, Donald Lopez. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lopez of Zwolle; his children, Destry Lopez and wife, Brandi, of Many, Randy Meshell of Shreveport, Judy Turner of Clyde, Texas, Peggy Torres of Shreveport and Brenda Phillips  and husband, Paul, of Keithville; sister, Janice Canton and husband, Louis, of Logansport; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
