    Funeral services for Janice Mitchell, 69, of Fisher were held on Jan. 7, at the Shady Grove Church of God in Fisher.  The Rev. James Hickman officiated. Interment followed in Central Cemetery, Robeline. Janice was born on Jan. 8, 1945 in Natchitoches. She entered into eternal rest in Shreveport on Jan. 4, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents,  J.E. and Doris Woodel; granddaughter, Angelia Vansickle; great-granddaughter, Darla Mae Sparrow; sister, Opal  Lockwood and brother, Lenard Ray Woodel. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Carrol Mitchell; daughters,  Katherine Hippler and husband, Larry, Cynthia L. Lewing, Myra Wilkerson and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Jeremy Hippler, Jason Hippler, Chris Hippler, Elizabeth Greer, Riley Greer, Casey Lewing, Mandy Lewing Ulrey, Ashley Lewing, Timothy Vansickle, Phillip Vansickle, Kyle Wilkerson, Michael Sparrow, Kevin Sparrow; 16 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Honoring her as pallbearers were Jeremy Hippler, Jason Hippler, Casey Lewing, Timothy Vansickle, Phillip Vansickle and Michael Sparrow.
