Funeral Services for David Wayne Lester, 61, of Robeline, were held on Dec. 18, at Friendship Church of the Nazarene in Robeline with the Rev. Steve Hunt officiating. Burial followed in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery in Many. David Wayne Lester was born on Thursday, Nov. 12, 1953 in Shreveport. He passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014 at Sabine Medical Center in Many. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Lester; daughter Lora Michelle Nall and parents, Carl and Willivae Johnson Lester. He is survived by his sons, David Lester of Baton Rouge and Chris Lester and wife, April of Robeline; sisters, Charlotte Echols and husband, Mike, of Shreveport and Fran Foster and husband, Freddy, of Shreveport; brother, Buddy Veuleman and wife, Barbara, of Robeline; four grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Pallbearers were James Tims, Bobby Tims, Ray Veuleman, Michael Echols and David Michael Jones. Honorary Pallbearers were Gill Necteaux and Nat Baggett.
