A memorial service honoring the life of Candis Lynn Rivers 58, of Noble, was held on Friday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Timothy C. Hurd officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Candis was born in Fort Smith, Ark. on June 13, 1956. She entered into eternal rest at her residence in Noble, on Nov. 11, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bettye Dane; brothers, Terry
and Randy Dane and granddaughter Ella Rivers. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Danny Noah Rivers, Sr.; sons, Danny and Lester Rivers; daughters, Danette Rivers, Benie Rivers, Sunnie Rivers, Christy Morales and Ashley Beard; grandchildren, Robert Sepulvado, William Sepulvado, Annabel Sepulvado, Taylor Acklin, Jordan Napier, Noah Lee, Connor Lee, Haley Rivers, Fenton Rivers, Aiden Kurtz, Airiana Kurtz, Layken Morales, Kaitlyn Napier and Drake Napier and a host of friends. Honoring her as pallbearers were Chey Remedies, John Napier, Robert Sepulvado, Justin Lee, Jimmy Rivers and Lester Rivers. Honorary pallbearers were Josh Lewis and Antonio Morales.
