Funeral service for Mr. Larry Lambert, Sr. was 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Marthaville Baptist Church with Bros. David
Free and Brian Ray officiating. Interment followed at Robeline Cemetery. Larry Lamar Lambert, Sr., 76, a resident of Robeline passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014. He was born Oct. 8, 1938 to Tom and Addie Lambert in Natchitoches.
Mr. Lambert worked for Bell South for over 40 years and was a member of Marthaville Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family. He is survived by his wife, Laurice Allbritton Lambert of Robeline; sons, Larry Lambert, Jr. and wife, Cynthia, of Houston, Texas and David Lambert and wife, Leigh, of Natchitoches; brothers, Jerry Lambert of Robeline, Terry Lambert of Robeline and Dean Lambert of Many; sister, Dorothy Fullerton of Robeline; step-daughters, Leah Eubanks and husband, David, of Shreveport and Laura Wilson and husband, R.J., of Hornbeck; grandchildren, Bailey Lambert, Tyler Newell, Kristyn Newell, Kyle Bickham, Jessica Downs, Cody Wilson and Conner Wilson; great grandchildren, Cohan Bickham, Jaylee Downs and Lena Downs as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mildred “Millie” Lambert and seven brothers. Those honored to serve as pallbearers were George Lambert, Scott Lambert, Charles Fullerton, Ron Lambert, Lance Lambert, and Kent Wall.
