A funeral service honoring the life of Alice Joy Malmay, 64, of Zwolle was held on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. in the Rose-Neath Logansport Chapel. The Reverends Jerry  Penfield and Vernon Stephenson officiated. Interment followed in the Joaquin Cemetery. Alice was born in Logan, Texas on June 25, 1950. She  entered into eternal rest on Nov. 3, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital in Bossier City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Norcel McAllister Dickerson; brother, Bobby Joe Dickerson  and son Eddie Dean Malmay. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Edward Malmay, Jr.; sons, James Clinton Wells and wife, Kathi, and Michael Aaron Malmay; daughter, Tina Lynn Malmay;  grandchildren, Wendy Kincel, Marty Self, Matthew Self, Brett Colton Wells, Brittany Wells and Brittaney Cantillo; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ida Mae Emerson and husband, Johnny, Irene Windham and husband, Martin; brother, Ransom Dickerson and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Honoring her as pallbearers were Shane Ballard, Brandon Jay Whitten, Chris Ebarb, Rory Brandon, Danny Matthews, Kaleb Morgan, Walter Daniels and Charles Partin. Honorary pallbearers were Pat Malmay, Joe Malmay, Dakota Malmay, L. J. Whitten and Ransom Dickerson.
