    Funeral services for Cleo “Stumpie” Lewis, 92, of Marthaville, were held on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. at The Life Church with Pastors Jim Manning and Tommy Lewis officiating. Burial followed in the Old Pisgah Cemetery in Belmont. Cleo “Stumpie” Lewis was born on Wed. Aug. 16, 1922 in Marthaville. She passed away on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lewis; parents, Ovid and Laura Evitt Hayes; daughter, Lajuana Lewis; brothers, Floyd Hayes and Marzelle Hayes; great grandson, Ethan Manasco She is survived by her son, Wayne Lewis and wife, Jewel, of Marthaville; daughters, Jan Singletary and husband, Ted, of Marthaville and Joan Payne and husband, Bob, of Natchitoches; sister, Lanita Davis of Shreveport; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
