On October 19, Sabine Parish 4-H members from Kindergarten to eighth grade, along with Jr Leaders, met at North Toledo Bend Park for a day camp.
During this time, members learned about pollination and made a pollination sundae with Mrs. Amber, they drew pictures to send to the hurricane victims, planted pots with pansies, made mini greenhouses, seed bombs and life size scarecrows. They also enjoyed snacks and were able to make floats using ice cream and orange fanta. The reaction between the carbonated drink and ice cream proved to be such fun.
