Funeral services honoring the life of Kelly Leon Campbell, 74, were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 at Noble United  Pentecostal Church in Noble with the Reverends Gentry, Green, and Anselmi. Burial followed at Union Springs Cemetery in Converse. Mr. Campbell was born in Coushatta to Robert and Marie Pugh Campbell and passed away at his home in Converse with family by his side. Leon was a lifetime member of the United Pentecostal Church in Noble. He was a man of great faith who fought a strong fight in his extended battle with cancer. He held his head high serving Christ in being an example and inspiration to all who knew him. He was a graduate of Noble High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked in the oil/gas industry, real estate and was owner of Toledo Bend Realty. Leon was an avid outdoorsman. He most loved gathering with friends and family, especially his grandkids. Preceding Mr. Campbell in death were his parents, Robert Rollins Campbell and Marie Pugh Campbell; brother, Robert Rollins Campbell; half brothers, Robert Doyle Campbell, and James Campbell and half sisters, Lota Campbell Lyle, and Margie Campbell. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, JoNell Lum Campbell; sons, Carlton Leon Campbell and wife, Cindy, Michael Daniel Campbell and wife, Julie, and Jason Layne Campbell and wife, Amy; brothers Thomas Ray Campbell and wife, Margie, Larry Gene Campbell and wife, Margie, Danny Lynn Campbell and wife,
Charmaine, Jerry Wayne Campbell and wife, DeWanna, and Norman Glynn Campbell and wife, Jan; grandchildren,  Emily Taylor Campbell, Payton Rollins Campbell, Kristen Elizabeth Campbell, Michael Dylan Campbell, Kaitlyn Danielle
