Funeral services for Barbara Brown, 69, of Hornbeck, were held on Monday, July 21 beginning at 10 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Many with Bro. Leon Manshack officiating. Burial followed in the Ajax Cemetery, Ajax. Barbara Brown was born
on Monday, Feb. 5, 1945 in Coushatta. She passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at her residence in Hornbeck. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Elizabeth Brevelle, Sr.; son, Ronnie Manshack, Sr.; daughter, Sandy Manshack; and husbands, Sam Harvey Manshack and Kenneth Brown. She is survived by her children, Sam Manshack,
Jr. and wife, Dorothy, of Campti, Leon Manshack and wife, Lucy, of Many, Cynthia Nealy and husband, Duggie, of Campti, Greg Manshack of Houston, Texas, Brenda Manshack of South Louisiana; stepsons, Keith Brown and fiancé, Meridith Durrett, of Many, David Brown of Many, and Daniel Brown and wife, Sharon, of Florien; sisters, Betty Mae Windle of Coushatta, Lois Williams, of Noble, and Avis Vines of Many; brothers, Floyd Brevelle of Fort Jesup, and Pete Brevelle
