Kenneth Seegers was born on Friday, March 10, 1940 in Haynesville, Louisiana. He passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at his residence in Many, Louisiana.

Moving to Florida in 1960, he purchased several automotive and transmission shops. Retired from Florida to Louisiana in 1990 to purchase a poultry, cattle, and pig farm. In 2010 he fully retired to enjoy life fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family & friends.

Preceded in death by his parents H.O. and Rosa Belle Seegers, his daughter Delveritta Thomas, and son Danny Ray Seegers. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Ruby Faye Seegers of Many, LA; daughter Sharon Seegers of Shreveport, LA; son-in-law Melvin Thomas of Many, LA; step-children Larry Compton and wife Manuela of Orlando, FL; Rick Compton and wife Tami of Valdosta, GA; Janet Tucker of Clermont, FL; and Steve Compton and wife Charyl of Longwood, FL; siblings Gerald Seegers and wife Carolyn of Keithville, LA; Sue Koenig of Shreveport, LA; Doug Seegers and wife Linda of Many, LA; Carolyn Moore and husband Frank of Many, LA; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bethsadia Baptist Church with Pastor Dean Johnson officiating and the eulogy delivered by Bruce McDugald. Burial will follow in the Bethsadia Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Bethsadia Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Mark Brock, RJ Compton, Blake Compton, Alek Compton, Corey Tucker, Luke Compton, Quade Compton, and great-grandson Clayton Greer.
